If you’re torn between some of the family wanting to enjoy the skiing and others not, going to resorts like Mt. High can be a great idea to enjoy Wrightwood in the snow. The slopes are an excellent option for the older crowd, but snow play areas are suited for younger kids. Sledding, tubing, snow angels, and more are all available at the exact locations where you can go snowboarding on the same day.

If you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wrightwood and the mountains without spending top dollar at a ski resort, hiking at locations like Big Pines and the Blue Ridge Trail provides family-friendly walking experiences without too much hassle.
